My carpenter stopped by today. He owes me an invoice for work done three months ago. Since he does not have a computer, carbon invoices record his work. He took Monday and Tuesday of this week to finish his taxes. Some of those carbon invoices had to be held against the window to read. “Does that say 2004 or 2005?” My carpenter builds and repairs with wood better than most. He just needs to get himself a computer since businesses require detailed tax records, and a computer makes that calculation easier.
