The fastest growing age group celebrating birthdays is those becoming 100 years old. Many of them are active, involved, alert, committed, and of course, old.
Labeling people over age 50 as old seems absurd! Varun Pratap must be younger than age 50. People over 50 years old are not elderly. Even if society agrees with Varun Pratap, all people 50 plus should prove them wrong!
Four commitments invigorate: mental health, physical fitness, spiritual growth, and close relationships. Each facet brings dimension and relevance to days that become decades. “Old and full of days” describes ancient personalities at the end of life, not during life.

During the month, I receive more than 3,000 articles for posting on echievements.com. Reading each before the copy/paste procedure takes time. My first interest is the title. Many writers use dull, common, redundant article titles. When this happens, I am bored immediately.
Other writers send articles written in Microsoft word. This frustrates me because they contain lots of “gobble de gook”. Using the article requires editing out numbers and symbols. This takes too much time, and the article gets deleted. Sometimes, I will write to the author.
Most writers limit their vocabulary; an oddity in an “age of volubility”, says E. B. White. Word choice makes the difference between “lightning and the lightning bug” (Mark Twain).
Writing is an artful discipline. Some marketers say, “Just get the article written. Don’t worry about the structure, the grammar, but do check the spelling.” I disagree; Grandma would say, “Mind your grammar, my dear. Let the words flow into rivulets of thoughtful meaning. Let the paragraphs stream into an ocean of wise expression.” (My grandmother filled her metaphors with apple pie embedded in crispy crust.) Write well. As Sophfronia Scott suggests, think of yourself as a writer.
