There is nothing more fun than getting away during the weekend, whether you are in a trailer or RV it is really great to breathe the fresh air and get to eat outdoors while looking on the breathtaking background. To make it more fun, safe and enjoyable, you also need to bring complete set of camping supplies or equipment along with you.
If you do not have any RV or trailer with you, you will surely need tents; you must know that the tents have different kinds of types and sizes, from single size to family size. Before you purchase any kind of tent for your camping trip, you must first determine the kind of weather that your destination have. There are tents that are especially made for hot weather and there are tents that are made for cold weather. For sure you want to have some mattress where you could sleep on not only to serve as a cushion but also an insulator as well. There are now mattresses that can provide proper insulation, the size can vary from single to king size, it can be charged up using the battery of a car.
You also need some nice sleeping bag with you, to make sure that you can sleep comfortably, they also comes in different types, depending on the season, there are even sizes for children too.
It is also much better if you can bring with you a lantern or flashlight; make sure that you also bring with you enough batteries that will last throughout the camping trip. Even if you are planning to go and use solar energy, you will still need these kinds of element at night time. There are now flashlight that can be charge using the solar energy, once charged-up, they can last as much as 8 hours. You can also choose the hand cranked table lantern. Cranking it in just a minute is already enough for it to last for three hours.
If you want to give yourself a break from cooking, you can already buy pre-cooked meals, there are now so many foods that you can just prepare in an instant. Make sure that you bring some protective screens to keep away insects from your food. Water should be placed in water carriers; they are an excellent way of carrying water on the camp's water supply.
One important thing that you also need to consider when you are outdoors is your laundry. There are now some available mini washing machines and dryers that can help your clothes stay clean. Do not forget to include a clothes line so that you can easily dry your clothes in the camp. |
