The best way to learn Spanish without question is the Spanish Immersion course. As the name suggests, these courses require the student to completely immerse themselves into the language. Quite often the course will take place in a Spanish speaking country and will last anything from 1 week to 2 months.
Although this is undoubtedly the best way to learn Spanish it doesn't come without drawbacks, the biggest of which is cost. Immersion courses have become more affordable in recent years but they are still out of reach for many people; there is also the issue of being away from work or family for a considerable amount of time too, which for many just isn't possible.
An alternative to this and 'numero dos' in our best way to learn Spanish hit-list is the college course or classroom course. Unfortunately, they have become a little old fashioned of late with the advent of the internet and the home learning boom but they are unquestionably deserving of a place on our 'best way to learn Spanish' list, as they carry a high interactivity level and success rate.
Again, there are certain drawbacks with this type of course and cost is yet again one of them. It's not unrealistic to expect that the price you will be required to pay in order to achieve a good basic level of Spanish fluency could be around $1000 to $1400, as you are probably looking at 8 months or two semesters of studying to reach that level. You have probably noticed another drawback and that is the length of time taken to get results.
And this brings us onto the most popular choice, and in my opinion the best and easiest way to learn Spanish and that is the interactive-audio, online, conversational Spanish course. In terms of value it blows the other contenders out the water as it costs a fraction of the price the other two do.
If flexibility is of paramount importance, and for many this is definitely the case, the best way to learn Spanish is surely the online course. You will learn Spanish when you want to learn Spanish, not when your course timetable dictates that you have to.
The time taken to achieve results is vastly better than the college classroom type course but obviously can lag behind the immersion course which undoubtedly leads the way on timescales.

Each method of learning Spanish as listed above all have a high success rate amongst students but by far and away the best way to Learn Spanish when you combine, cost, flexibility, quality and results is the Online course. |
