The name of the game for any successful business is to get a healthy supply of traffic to your site. There are many ways to do this that are free and also paid.
One of the biggest overlooked ways to get a ton of traffic to your business is by using magazine classifieds. A magazine classified is simply an ad that is a couple lines in length similar to a newspaper ad.
Magazine classifieds are by far one of the best ways you could ever use to promote a website for several reasons.
The first reason being this, with one simple little small ad in the back of a magazine you can create a massive amount of sales that keep rolling in. Some will see your ad almost right away and others will see it in the days and weeks to come.
When people spend money on a magazine they love to get their moneys worth by looking at everything in that magazine, including the classifieds. When I buy a magazine I always look at the classifieds.
Think of this, how many people would see your ad in a magazine where millions of people read that magazine month after month. The answer is, a lot.
Magazine classifieds are a massive income source for the people that use them. So why doesn't everyone use them? Here is the simple answer.
When you place a classified ad in a magazine, it will take approximately take 4 to 8 weeks before your ad actually hits the public.
This will only happen the first time you place your ad. You can easily renew it in just a phone call to continue your ad month after month.
The fact is most people are too impatient and want their results yesterday. It is this type of thinking that will actually cost you sales.
Do you realize that one simple little classified ad in the back of one of the top home business magazines could generate 5 or 10 orders alone?
Keep in mind that you are also going to be receiving overrides from these people too. Why people would ever want to pass up this type of marketing simply does not make sense.
Here is another thing you need to realize about magazine classifieds, your ads stay around for quite a while. People leave magazines lying around constantly and they page through them all the time.
This is target marketing at its best, and the people who actually use it will only see their profits grow faster.
With most magazines, you can usually get a classified ad placed for about $150.00 and the return can easily be 20 times your investment.
If your budget doesn't allow you to use this type of advertising right now, always keep it in mind for when you can afford it. It is one of the most efficient ways to pull in a massive amount of sales within a very short time period.
If you want a steady stream of additional traffic to your site, then I highly recommend using magazine classifieds. |
