Social phobia disorder victims, in my books need to have the label brave, and courageous, certainly not weak. and pathetic. It is quite annoying when you hear people speak in an unappropriated way about an anxious victims. Well you need to understand the bravery you go through each and every day, and that is exactly what i am going to deliver to you in this article.
Social phobia disorder can manifests any time to any normal person!
Just something as simple as going to the bank, picking the kids up from school, just being in the car is absolute night mare for a social phobia disorder victim. Someone that does not suffer from this illness has a very difficult time trying to work out why those simple things could cause an issue, it completely puzzles them. They just think you are weird, or freaky.
Reasons a social phobia disorder victim needs to feel proud!
You rise each morning and put on that brave face.
You face the world knowing you are terrified to do so, but you do it.
You have numerous episodes of panic, anxiety which is very traumatic, and then keep carrying on with your day.
The simplest thing in life are such an effort, but you do them anyway.
This reminds me of a story once about a race horse, no matter how much weight they put on his back to slow him down, he kept going, he did not win, but he finished the race and that is the main thing. So think of it this way, imagine the strength someone needs to have to be able to perform daily with this handicap, if you can not see how brave you actually are, then you need to take a real good look at your self in the mirror and start to give your self a brake.
Start excepting the fact that you have social phobia disorder, you are not weak, this is just a set back the life thrown at you to test your strength. Once you start having faith in your self this is when things will turn around for you. How do i know this i hear you ask? i suffered for social phobia disorder for 13 years, i hated myself for being weak and scared all the time. It took me alone time to trust my abilities to cope with anxiety but, when i did my life changed. I do not regret ever being where i was for all those years, as it was a test of my strength as well. Today i have so much confidence, and it has taken me down a path i would not have chosen for my self. Now i write articles to help others who would have thought?
