Silicone and rubber custom bracelets have been worn by millions of people all over the world during the last decade. Ever since champion bicyclist Lance Armstrong was seen sporting his yellow LiveStrong wristband the custom bracelets have been wildly popular. There are many reasons to explain why so many people have gone out of their way to find those wristbands. One of the reasons is that they are extremely inexpensive. These custom bracelets can be found individually for only a couple of dollars or can be bought in bulk quantities for only 20 to 30 cents each.

Most people turn to the Internet these days to order their custom bracelets, and there are many different companies with websites to serve those people. Some of the companies will only fill orders for a certain minimum number of identical wristbands. Other websites offer to fill orders that are much smaller, sometimes down to only one bracelet per order. Be sure that you become familiar with whatever minimums each website has in place, because some have a minimum of 100, some have a minimum of 50, and others have no minimum requirement at all.

Usually, companies will offer bigger discounts for bigger bulk amounts of bracelets being ordered. You will want to decide first of all which colors and design you will want for your wristbands. Many companies offer customers different fonts and font sizes for any writing that is to be put on the bracelets. Customers can usually elect to have letters and numbers debossed, embossed, or simply printed on the wristbands. With printed options, the writing is simply painted on to the silicone or rubber in a different color than the band itself. Letters that are embossed are raised above the rest of the custom bracelet, and are usually the same color as the rest of the wristband. Letters that are debossed are sunken into the band a bit, and are usually also the same color as the bracelet is.

There are usually limits to the size and number of characters that can be put on a personalized wrist band. The average limit on standard custom bracelets for characters is about 4 inches long, and this turns out to be about 30 characters or so. There are also many companies that are able to add custom logos, symbols, or pictures to bracelets to make truly unique custom bracelets for customers.
