You have just come up with a brilliant product which is set to take the world by storm but before you can jump the gun, you are held back by some constraints which you didn't consider in the pre production stages. Information is the currency which determines all the major transactions that is taking place around the globe today. Knowledge is power and whoever has plentiful of it, is obviously better placed than just a businessman who is dealing in gold.
* Be a part of your competitor's list, because that way you can end up promoting each other's products.
The best and fast way to build a list is by offering your subscribers something for free when they sign up. These days' people are building their lists real fast by giving away free information packed reports. Once you choose your niche, write a short report that might be of value to your subscribers and give it to them once they sign up. A good method to collect leads is by joining a JV giveaway event.
Remember, to offer a good a quality report. Don't compromise on the quality just because you're give it away for free. If people love what you're giving them at no cost at all, it will help in building your credibility and when you start promoting paid products to them they will trust you enough to buy from you.
One vital tip that you need to keep in mind is, do not always try to sell to your list subscribers, from time to time send them quality stuff for free. Interact with your list and be in touch with them.
You should focus on building a steady and fruitful relationship with the people present on your mailing list instead of avariciously coveting a large number of names on it.
