When it comes to chauffeur car hire, there are various reasons why one might choose to use this facility. The doors on the new Rolls are commonly termed as 'suicide doors'. This means they are hinged on the opposite side to normal car doors. This allows for a much more graceful entry and exit for passengers, particularly brides. Older versions of cars with these suicide doors experienced safety problems if the doors should come open whilst driving but with the newer version, if the doors should come open once more than walking speed is reached, the brakes will automatically be applied and the car will come to a standstill. So, no brides rolling about in the road then!
One beautiful feature of the 2009 Rolls Royce Phantom is that of the roof lining. It is covered in pin prick holes and at the flick of a switch, tiny lights come on within the lining. This gives the effect of a star studded night sky. So the bride and groom get to start off their wedding night by star gazing - what more could you ask for in the romance stakes?
Other popular hire vehicles include armoured cars for those more concerned with security. This often covers celebrities and politicians who are under public scrutiny and more likely to be the subject of obsessive fans. It offers them and their families a much high level of protection while out and about.
Mercedes and BMW are also high class luxury vehicles used for the chauffeuring of either business people or wedding parties. Stretch limousines have also become a much called for hire vehicle since the introduction of the American prom to UK schools and the cost of hiring one of these is kept down when several parties share the expense. |
