Well look no more! One of the best things you can do is to have a look online at the various companies that offer Heathrow taxis. Hardly anyone uses a phone book nowadays so if you want information, a product or in this case; a service, you gotta look online! One of the nice things about looking online is that you can find various companies and you can find them in just a few minutes - without paging through a very large paged directory. If you need a taxi - these companies are completely there for you.
It doesn't matter if you need to run down the street, go to a doctors appointment or even need a Heathrow airport taxi - these guys are here with a helping hand. If you find a site you might want to deal with, then I would suggest looking for their "quote" section which is usually an inquiry type section. This will allow you to tell them why you need them, what you need them for and how you want them to get back to you. Then, they will either email or call you with the information you will need such as if they are available, when you should be ready, how much it's going to cost on average, etc.
It's also important to make sure the company is a professional business with nice and reliable cars. I have taken a lot of taxis in my time. Some were awesome. Clean cars, nice drive, safe driver. Others? Not so much. So it's good to go with a company that has a proven track record of being who you want them to be - safe, reliable, quality, cheap! Please also make sure that the company offers some sort of a guarantee about the drivers. For example, one site I found online gave this pitch:
Our Drivers - Peace of mind: All of our taxi drivers are qualified with Hackney Carriage License. Well dressed with clean modern taxis, they all have excellent local knowledge and have been police checked.
This is what you want! You also want to check in and make sure that they have "room" for your needs. For instance, if you have a business meeting of some sort and you need a taxi to Heathrow for 10 people then chances are you are going to need a bigger taxi than a regular one, such as a 16 seater mini bus, or a Executive Heathrow Taxi Cars. Remember, these people are doing a service to you. So you want to make sure they aren't inconveniencing you. Find the right company, with the right service options. And remember to tip your drivers! |
