You will find all different types of coffee makers on the market today and at your neighbors or friends homes. Everyone has their own tastes therefore their own style of coffee makers. The most popular on the market is the manual drip coffee maker. This machine is your standard coffee makers that can be found anywhere and makes your normal cup of coffee that we all love.
One Cup Coffee Makers are great for having a fresh cup of coffee every time without a big mess. There are advantages and disadvantages to this type of machine though. You will not be able to just buy any type of coffee at any store. The manufacturers of the coffee machine make their own one cup serving that you have to buy. Other than that this type of machine is a great way to always have a fresh cup of coffee if you don't mind having to buy the manufacturers brand.
There are more extravagant coffee makers too like the french press. This machine is a glass jar that has vertical sides and a plunger. There is a mesh filter attached to the plunger. The coffee is put into the jar, hot water is poured in, and then you attach the lid. After about five minutes you then just have to slowly press the plunger down. This will give you a tasty cup of coffee.
One of the most popular type of coffee machine that you can find in almost every home or office is the coffee drip brewer. You simply need filters and any type of your favorite coffee. You simply fill the filter with coffee, fill the reservoir with water and push start. The heated water pours over the coffee and into the pot and is kept hot by a burner on the bottom. This is a great way to have a full pot of coffee for home or office but you will find if you let it sit it gets stale and stronger because the burner continues to cook the coffee giving it a very nasty taste.
Another type of coffee maker is the percolator. This is not for everyone. These have to stay on the stove for a long period of time. This is not the easiest or quickest way to brew coffee. Most people do not like this type because it is so time consuming and hard to do. The best maker to go with is your standard coffee drip brewer or for fresher coffee your one cup coffee maker. |
